I have been hesitating to do this and it is part of the reason why this update got delayed, but I added a radio station to the game like Fallout or GTA, it is in its prototype stage and you have to download a resource pack, but I am very proud of how it is turning out.
Expect it to change in the future with more stations as you go to different areas.
The meat in Tech Valley got some love I spent a bit going into the layout and even added a quest in the area.
There has been something cooking up as I get more and more into messing with the map. I have come up with a story that is now the overarching lore of the world, and it is shaping up well, with many of the characters and factions' real characters from the past.
Speaking of lore involving you guys, I added an old concrete factory to the wrl that has been abandoned and made the owner none other than Candycat.
You can find his journal pages and learn more about the lore as it devolves. There is old command block machines with exposed parts open to the public. A place once of fun and merchant adventure now a shell the past.
The keep on top the hill on Tech Valley got some Npcs and upgrades now there is a road and several buildings up there not just an empty castle.
There is a quick quest, that I will expand upon in the future but as of right now the player can help these guys investagate the meat problem.
I started the week dedicated to working on Tech Valley then the radio thing got me going. After a while I was thinking spawn needs more life.
So I added Npcs and a build or two. I went back and forth between Little Bridge and Tech Valley adding weird things all week.
Like fixing the lock in goblin sewers and adding an Npc down there besides Goblins.
I also worked on a prototype to dialog chains in game with Npcs.
So, I was late updating the map, and I left you guys in the dark about it for a day.
I assume no one was checking the website daily waiting for the drop but if you were, I am sorry. I will try to be on time or post a notice of delay
This has been upgraded to have inventory and a minigame sort of quest built around it. Where you can find undelivered packages in the basement and deliver them yourself for EXP.
In the future I want to add something like you get a horse or donkey of varying speeds depending on how many deliveries you have done. This would be more in line with what Nph the original creator of the build had in mind.
I also want to introduce a mechanic where you can open the packages
The tax system has been overhauled, and the first Castle has been fixed so that when you pax your Taxes it progressively improves.
The first real quest has been added to the game, it starts here and ends here. That is all the hints you are getting.
Upon completing the quest you are granted access to the basement of the keep and allowed to turn in local monster heads for EXP.
In the future I plan on adding a shop here of some sort with low-medium level gear.
The old mechanic of digging out fossils was bugged but now has been fixed. The museum in little bridge is also now once again accepting fossils and fossil fragments.
In the future I plan on adding a quest or interaction of some sort with the thieves nearby and stealing from the museum.
Thee old 999 clan base has been overhauled and updated, with new mobs and mechanics.
As you explore and trigger events this adds to a running score, and once the player has a high enough score they can pass through a hidden barrier, if their Archeology Level is high enough.
In the future there will be at least one Boss added to this area and upgraded variants of base mobs that will spawn as you spend more time in the area.
